FRUELA ALONSO (Lloro, Asturias, 1974)
Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Vigo.
Fruela Alonso confesses to feel attracted by the strangeness produced by certain images, especially of natural landscapes and cities. He feels the need to reproduce them in his paintings, in a meticulous way, but not as an attempt to copy or capture them, but with the intention of decomposing and reconstructing them in a process that leads him to the analysis and understanding of a changing environment; a process that allows him to show the spectator not what he saw, but what he felt when he saw it.
